Description
Triomune (Stavudine/Lamivudine/Nevirapine) is an oral medication containing a combination of three medications used for the management of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). The medication operates by slowing the reproduction of virus cells in the body making it easier for the immune system to control the infection. It should be noted that this treatment is only meant to manage your condition and will not completely cure the infection.
Dosage and Administration
Strictly follow the directions provided by your physician while using (Stavudine/Lamivudine/Nevirapine) to ensure the safest and most effective results from treatment. The normal dosage is one tablet administered once daily, but your particular instructions will depend on your current health and the severity of your symptoms. The tablets should be swallowed with a large glass of water and may be taken on an empty stomach, although a meal is suggested if you experience nausea. Never change the form of the tablets by chewing, splitting, or crushing them as this may destroy or alter the effects of their contents.
